We have four hard courts.
We appreciate resurfacing work will be required shortly. We also hope to install floodlights, electronic access gate (to remove the need for tags and keys), cycle stands and a basic clubhouse. In addition we are looking into the possibility of installing padel courts and have a sub-committee to discuss these issues.
Padlock – the court gates should be locked at all times. Members are provided with a key.
Location – Kirkstall Abbey Grounds, Abbey Road, Leeds LS5 3EH.
Our courts are on the bus routes of the 33, 34 and 787, there are cycle lanes on the road outside and we are close to the canal towpath cycleway, and we are a short distance from Kirkstall Forge Railway station.
Unfortunately the courts do not have toilet facilities, please arrive already changed. We have an informal arrangement with The Vesper Gate to be able to use their WC facilities – please try to reciprocate by providing them with some custom!
