POLICIES – See our Policies page.

COURT WORKS ASSISTANCE – There are always opportunities for members to be more involved in the running of the club.  If you are able to offer some time at various points in the year to help out with maintenance tasks e.g. painting benches, sweeping courts etc. we would be very pleased to hear from you.  We already have some support in this role however we would gladly welcome more helpers and expertise.  The club runs solely on volunteers so that we can all enjoy our beautiful courts in their beautiful setting.  If anyone feels that they may be in a position to offer some of their time, then please get in touch (to our Club Secretary Jason Spears – sears-j@sky.com).

AGM – The KATC AGM was held at Tuesday 16 March 2021, for the first time as an online videoconference meeting.  All members are welcome to attend AGMs, you can meet your committee and fellow members, learn about how the club works and current issues, and get involved in the club’s administration.

Coaching Free to members are the ten week coaching sessions, they started in May each year (Juniors 10am-11am, Adults 11am-12pm) and will start at a similar date next year.  In 2021 we hope to arrange them to start towards the end of May.  For the first time due to government restrictions we may need a booking system.  Further details regarding this to be confirmed.

Hoodies Great news as club-branded hoodies are now available, at a cost of £18 each.  They can be obtained in either navy blue or purple and in a range of sizes (S, M, L, XL, XXL).  The logo on the hoddies in the picture below has been expanded for illustration purposes and it will actually be of a normal size.

LTA / Wimbledon Tickets – Unfortunately the LTA will not be holding a ballot for tickets this year, however there will be some allocation of tickets for LTA Advantage (BTM) Members.

LTA Website – KATC also has an entry on the LTA website – check by clicking here.

Court Maintenance It may be necessary to close the courts at short notice for maintenance, for example to treat issues such as moss growth.  In early April 2017 the courts were sprayed with anti-moss treatment, power washed and re-painted.  This greatly improved the playing surface which should now remain in excellent condition for many years.

Court Rules Please consider and obey the court rules which makes things pleasant for everybody.  They can be found in our KATC Club Brochure 2018.
